Zumba, it's what your body craves!

Anybody else prescribe water for most ailments? I DO! If my son comes to me and says, "my stomach hurts" I say, "have you had any water?" if they say, "I'm feeling kinda dizzy", I say, "have you had any water?"

They are so sick of hearing me talk about water! I'm no doctor but I'm pretty sure that water is really important for our body.

Think about two rivers, one has alot of areas where the water trickles over the rocks and it's crystal clear and sounds beautiful too, and other rivers just kinda sit there and you see all this filmy green stuff on top and all you hear are crickets in the grass. Well, I think our bodies are like rivers, we need to keep the water flowing, if we do, then everything works right, you feel wonderful, but if you neglect to put water in, well, you grow nasty green stuff.

Back to topic.

Ok, so, it's been about 1 week since I've been to Zumba class..I feel really fat and I think I've not been such a nice mommy either.....or wife for that matter!

I NEED Zumba! I can kick and yell and punch and run and dance and just get crazy and no one cares one bit. Doesn't matter if I'm tired or sweaty, we're all in this together!

So, today I realized that I must be prescribing Zumba for just about any ailment there is! If someone is tired, I'm like "have you tried Zumba?" Or if someone is full of emotional weight, I'm like, "man, you would really love Zumba!" To me, why wait? Every time you tell someone they say things like "nah, I'd feel stupid" or "I don't have rhythm."    ........EXCUSES PEOPLE!!!

The truth is you are sacrificing your wellbeing because you would rather stay in your little box and be miserable than to push yourself into doing something that may seem weird at first but will fill your life with JOY! Just like the water thing, my kids can be so stubborn and say they KNOW it's not that, but won't pick up a stinkin' glass of water to see if it might ACTUALLY work!

Just yesterday my son called to tell me that he thought he had a stomach virus, where was the ibuprofen. I said, if you have a stomach virus, ibuprofen is not the best choice for you. He said, "what should I do?" I said, "I know you don't want to hear this, but just drink plenty of water and lay down" haha! Well I checked back later and asked him how he felt........low and BEHOLD......the water WORKED! Crazy! HAHA  He said "well, I had drank some water earlier but I guess I just hadn't drank enough" Good kid.

So, you know me, gotta bring you back to the spiritual side of things here.

Are you drinking from the RIVER OF LIFE?  Are you going to church? Are you reading the Word? Are you getting your daily dose from the Holy Spirit through prayer...worship?

You're soul is like a river, keep that river of life FLOWING, don't let it sit and grown filmy green stuff. You will feel better and live better, and like Zumba class, don't let the typical "nah, I'd feel stupid" keep you from walking in that door. It doesn't matter how you dress, or what you look like, or where you've been, that door is always open to you, just walk right in. There's gonna be one set of eyes on you, and those belong to the LORD! And he's already seen you! He knows you and He loves you...

You can kick, and scream, and punch, and dance, and yell, and sweat, and get tired, it's ok, HE is there with you....

  1. Yeah, now I found something interesting!. I really love to join in a dance class, but somehow I am not one of those person who were born to be a dancer.

Now I don't have to worry about my dancing talent! I already have something in my goal:" To join a Zumba Class!" I am sure It wont feel me something stressful because fun is all around!.

Wow, it is really a nice thing to know that people are really committed to something if they love it.
